Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang (1) pengaruh metode pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan chest pass dalam permainan bolabasket  pada siswa MTs Kifayatul Achyar Kota Bandung; (2) pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan chest pass dalam permainan bolabasket pada siswa MTs Kifayatul Achyar Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Randomized Group Pretest Postest Design yang melibatkan variabel perlakuan yaitu metode pembelajaran Project Based Learning dan metode pembelajaran discovery learning serta variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar keterampilan chest pass dalam permainan bolabasket. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VIII MTs Kifayatul Achyar yang berjumlah 137 orang, (putra = 72 orang, putri = 65 orang) Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Sampel penelitian ini dipilih secara random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 orang siswa putra MTs Kifayatul Achyar pada Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Instrumen penelitian berupa keterampilan chest pass. Dari hasil test awal disusun menurut rengking nilai tertinggi, kemudian dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 20 orang (ordinal pairing). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t berpasangan, uji anava satu jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey pada tingkat α 0.05. Hasil penelitian uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan hasil tes awal dan tes akhir keterampilan chest pass pada kelompok PBL, DL dan kontrol berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan chest pass siswa. 1) Metode Project Based Learning thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel (19.256 > 2,093), 2) Metode Discovery Learning thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel (30.766 > 2,093), 3) Hasil uji tukey menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara Kelompok Discovery learning dan kelompok Project Based Learning
