ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Kabupaten Pandeglang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk mengukur kompetensi dan kinerja guru. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah statistik deskriptif bertujuan untuk menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan data hasil penelitian. Uji Regresi sederhana dilakukan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh Kompetensi Guru (X) terhadap Kinerja Guru (Y). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji signifikansi diperoleh Fhitung 0,31 lebih kecil dari pada Ftabel 0,34 pada α = 0,05, karena Fhitung < Ftabel maka sebaran titik yang terestimasi membentuk garis linier dapat diterima, jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru. Nilai kontribusi atau pengaruh variabel X terhadap Y adalah 0,315 atau 31,3 persen, sedangkan 68,5 persen kinerja guru dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain, artinya dengan memiliki penguasaan kompetensi yang tinggi maka kinerja guru dalam proses pendidikan akan meningkat.
